End User License Agreement

1. Definitions

• "Software" means BuddyVox application and all associated files.
• "Licensor" means BuddyIT, located in Kraków, Poland.
• "User" or "You" means the individual or entity that has purchased a license.
• "Device" means a physical computer identified by a unique hardware fingerprint.

2. License Grant

Subject to the terms of this Agreement, Licensor grants You a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

• Install and use the Software on the number of Devices permitted by your license tier
• Make one backup copy of the Software for archival purposes
• Receive updates within the licensed major version (v1.x)

3. License Binding

Your license is bound to specific physical Devices using a hardware fingerprint (HWID). This means:

• You may reinstall the operating system on the same Device
• You may update the Software on the same Device
• Transfer to a different Device requires a license reset via support
• License resets are provided at Licensor's discretion

4. Restrictions

You shall NOT:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the Software except as expressly permitted
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code
• Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright or proprietary notices
• Rent, lease, lend, sell, or sublicense the Software
• Use the Software to violate any applicable laws
• Circumvent any technical protection measures
• Share license keys with unauthorized parties

5. Third-Party Components

The Software includes third-party components under their respective licenses:

• Whisper — MIT License
• faster-whisper — MIT License
• ONNX Runtime — MIT License
• PyQt6 — Used under commercial license

Full third-party notices are provided with the Software installation.

6. Intellectual Property

The Software is protected by copyright laws and international treaties. Licensor retains all intellectual property rights in the Software. This Agreement does not grant You any rights to trademarks or service marks of Licensor.

7. Trial Version

The trial version is provided for evaluation purposes only. Trial limitations include restricted features and/or time limits. The trial version is provided WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY and should not be used for sensitive data.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT. LICENSOR DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.

9. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL LICENSOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOSS OF DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR LOSS OF PROFITS) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THIS AGREEMENT OR THE USE OF THE SOFTWARE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

10. Termination

This Agreement is effective until terminated. It will terminate automatically if You:

• Fail to comply with any term of this Agreement
• Attempt to circumvent license protection
• Distribute the Software without authorization

Upon termination, You must destroy all copies of the Software.

11. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Poland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kraków, Poland.

12. Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between You and Licensor regarding the Software and supersedes all prior agreements and understandings.
